Collaboration or long-term partnership?

Two ways to work with us, with different goals. A collaboration is an ad exchange to get seen. A long-term partnership is a giveaway we offer on your server to gain players. The /collab-ou-partenariat command says the same thing on Discord.

Ad exchange
The basic move. Their ad is posted on our server, ours on theirs.
Collaboration
An ad exchange done by our rules. Their ad goes in our collaborations channel, with the mention set by the grid, and ours goes on their server. The goal: to be seen.
Long-term partnership
We offer a giveaway on their server. To enter, their members join Spoiler Random and play the Labyrinthe. They get a free giveaway, we get players. The goal: new players.
Partner
A server we have a collaboration or a long-term partnership with right now.
Representative
The person who speaks for the other server. They must stay on Spoiler Random: if they leave, their ad is removed automatically.
Grid (or tier)
The table that says which mention each side makes for a collaboration (@everyone, @here, ad notif role or nothing), based on the other server's size. /collab-conditions shows it.
🤝 Collaboration 🎁 Long-term partnership
What is it for? Being seen. Getting players.
What do we exchange? One ad each, with the mention from the grid. A giveaway offered by us, in return for members who come and play.
Where does it happen? In our collaborations channel and in their ad channel. On their server, where their members see it.
How long? As long as both ads stay up. As long as the giveaway, for example 7 days.
What do they have to do? Post our ad and keep it up. Run the giveaway with our conditions, from start to finish.
An example? Their ad on our server with @here, ours on theirs with @here. 2 boosts to win over 7 days. To enter: join Spoiler Random and play at least one game.

What a long-term partnership involves

The grid and conditions below apply to collaborations.

Collaboration: the mention grid

The thresholds are based on our own size and update by themselves as Spoiler Random grows. Today we have 240 members, which gives the numbers below.

Your server What we mention What you mention
5 to 10 members No mention the post goes up, without notifying anyone No mention the post goes up, without notifying anyone
11 to 35 members @notif pub a role members pick to get the ads @everyone notifies the whole server
36 to 95 members @notif pub a role members pick to get the ads @here notifies online members only
96 to 203 members @notif pub a role members pick to get the ads An "ad notif" role or similar a role members pick to get the ads
204 to 239 members @here notifies online members only @here notifies online members only
240 members or more @everyone notifies the whole server @everyone notifies the whole server

Below 5 members (bots not counted), there is no tier: a collab is not possible. Up to 10 members, the entry tier applies (no mention on either side); the grid only expects a mention from you above that. Both posts go up on the same day, with one post and one mention per collab.

Collaboration: the conditions

They apply to every tier, no exceptions.

  1. A real, active server

Server created at least 15 days ago, with visible activity. Empty servers, or servers only made for swapping ads, are turned down.

  2. At least 5 members, bots not counted

A server with fewer than 5 members cannot get a collab. Up to 10 members, the collab uses the entry tier: no mention on either side. Nothing is asked of you at this stage; the grid only expects a mention from you above 10 members. Bots do not count: only human members are counted, on your side as on ours.

  3. An honest count

The tier is based on the member count shown by Discord, on both sides and on the same day. A server inflated on purpose (bots added in bulk, fake accounts, bought members) ends the collab.

  4. Compatible content

No NSFW, no leaks, no selling Nitro or accounts, no hateful content. The server must stay fine for our members, some of whom are minors.

  5. An open ad channel

Our post must be visible to all your members, in a channel for ads or partnerships, and stay there as long as the collab lasts.

  6. Posts on both sides

Both posts go up on the same day, each with the mention set by the tier, or with no mention at all if the tier has none. One post and one mention per collab: no reposting or re-pinging without agreement.

  7. A permanent invite

The invite link you share must not expire and must have no use limit. A dead or deleted link ends the collab.

  8. A representative on site

The person who represents your server stays a member of Spoiler Random for the whole collab. Our bot removes your post automatically if they leave the server.

  9. No cold messaging

No ads or invites sent to our members by DM. The post in our collaborations channel is the only allowed way.

  10. Ending it

Either side can stop the collab at any time. If it ends, each side removes the other's post.
